Succeed Thanks to Your Focus, Ideal Client and Point of View Clarity! (Business Core)

Hello Reader

It is more crucial than ever to connect with the right clients, the clients that have a genuine interest in your services and the clients with whom you want to work.

It means you need to be super clear as to what is the one thing for which you want to be known and why that one thing.

It means you need to know who are your bread-and-butter clients and you need to appeal directly to them-to their dreams, needs, and pains.

It also means you need to be able to articulate at a strategic level how you help eliminate their pain or assist them with achieving an opportunity.

I refer to your why, what, who, and how as your Business Core.

Your why and what are your FOCUS and the foundation for just about every decision your make and everything you do to grow and scale your business.

Your who is your IDEAL CLIENT and your how is your POINT OF VIEW which drives your services.

What is easy to forget is You Never Stop Working On Strengthening Your Business Core. It doesn't matter if you are new to consulting or an experienced consultant. In some way, shape, or form, you work on your Business Core until you close the door of your business.

Over the last several weeks, I provided a series of Business Core videos. Actually, there were 4 videos with the first explaining the concept of Business Core.

Your Consulting Success: Focus, Ideal Client, & Point of View

This video is an overview of the Business Core concept. Focus is explained with the help of Apple founders Steve Job and Steve Wozniak and to help you identify your ideal client an exercise is provided. The video ends with a Point of View example. For more on Focus-Ideal Client-Point of View, check out the below videos.

Market You with the Help of Your Consulting Point of View (Your How)

A key way to help you market you and explain how you solve problems or help with an opportunity is with your Point of View (POV). A POV is a consultant’s differentiator helping them stand out in a crowded field of other consultants-their competitors. With the help of a small business consultant, a network service provider and Netflix, POV is explained and ideas provided to assist you with creating and refining your own POV.

This Week's Question...

Can’t remember?
